One price per band.
Every member seat is free.

Start free and stay free if that is all you need. When you outgrow it, the band pays once — not once per musician. Fans and venues never pay at all.

Pricing questions

Who pays — the band or each member?

+

The band. Everything in BandMate hangs off a band: gigs, payment splits, setlists, equipment. One person subscribes and every member seat is free. A five-piece pays once, not five times.

Is there really a free plan?

+

Yes. The Free plan covers up to 10 gigs with payment splits, mileage at IRS rates, expenses, setlists, chord charts and a public band page. No card is required to create an account.

What does the annual price save?

+

Band is $19 a month, or $15 a month when billed annually. Band Pro is $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually. That is roughly 20% off, which matters because gig income is seasonal.

What happens if a payment fails?

+

Nothing immediately. A past-due subscription keeps its plan while the card is sorted out, because cutting a band off from its own gig calendar the hour a card expires is a bad way to treat a customer.

Can I cancel?

+

Yes, from band settings, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Your data stays yours — gigs, mileage and expenses all export to CSV.

Do fans or venues ever pay?

+

No. Fans and venues are the network side of the product, and charging them would break the thing that makes the band side worth having.
